Kiwano Travel shares airline personal information when booking your trip. To book the flight, we will usually provide information about first name, middle name, last name, departure airport, destination, departure and return date, bonus card number, special requests regarding the trip, including booking special meals during the flight and necessary assistance at the aircraft or airport. For trips to certain destinations, we can also provide information about your passport number to the airline.
Kiwano Travel sends personal information to the hotels you intend to use during your trip. To book hotels, we usually provide information about first name, middle name, last name, destination, arrival and departure date, room category, bonus card number, special requests for your trip (eg diet restrictions or assistance due to disability or illness during your stay at the hotel) .
3) TOUR OPERATORS
Kiwano Travel sends personal information to tour operators if you want to take part in experiences as part of the journey. To book these experiences, we usually provide information about first name, middle name, last name, experience, itinerary, date and time of the experience, as well as special requests during the experience (eg diet restrictions and assistance related to disability or illness), and travel document information (only if necessary).
International sharing of your personal data
Kiwano Travel provides travel and services, and to manage and deliver the products and services you order, we must share your personal information with travel companies and other companies that provide the services.
Since Kiwano Travel arranges travel to Asia and Africa, all travel companies that provide the travel (eg airlines, hotels, experiences) are outside the EU / EEA area. This means that personal data can be transferred to companies in these countries for the purposes described above.
Data integrity and security
Even if you have not given your consent for marketing, the personal information we collect on an order will be stored for three years after the last order. This means that your personal information will be deleted from our customer database if you have not placed a new order in the last three years.
Kiwano Travel is responsible for the processing of your personal information in accordance with applicable law. Therefore, we will correct, delete or supplement information on your request or at your own initiative if it is found that these are incorrect, incomplete or misleading.
